Besse Medical is a division of AmerisourceBergen Corporation, the national leader in pharmaceutical distribution. Besse Medical specializes in vaccine/injectable distribution to physician offices. We are currently seeking qualified individuals to work with our Contracts team.
Our Contracts & Chargebacks clerks begin with a competitive salary and this position will work a 40 hour week across five 8 hour shifts:
Monday to Friday from 8:
30 am to 5:
00 pm. Under close supervision of the Contracts and Chargebacks Managers, this position is responsible for timely input and maintenance of information pertaining to all contract files as well as the collection and reconciliation of chargeback claims.
Complete daily and monthly membership and pricing aduits through Excel.
Maintaining up to date contract information in BAAN and SalesForce.
Working with Sales and Customer Service teams regarding customer questions about pricing, membership status, etc.
Work with Chargeback department to settle chargeback disputes.
Load new contracts into computer system
Audit contract information for expiration dates, pricing, contract numbers, etc.
Audit GPO IDN membership and pricing.
Communicate any chargeback or IDN audit issues to Department Manager
Performs related duties as assigned.
Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires one (1) to two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
