As the Customer Service Specialist, you will act as the main point of contact daily with our customers as well as logistics companies to arrange product shipments and to keep our customers informed of their order status, answer inquiries, problem solve and build a long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationship.
Specific Job
Responsibilities:
Organizing movement of our products to our customers from Point A to Point B within North America Develop and maintain strong customer relationships Negotiate with shippers to get the best rate while meeting the customers' expectations Interact with customers and shippers to ensure the best possible experience including thorough updates throughout the sales cycle Keep accurate records of sales, inventory and shipping data Operations support including inventory management and other ad hoc projects Skills and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Excellent attention to detail Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills Highly organized The ability to manage multiple projects at once Strong comfort with math and numbers Experience with logistics is a plus Our team is small and nimble and everyone wears many hats.
