The Food Service Assistant assists in the overall food delivery process from the kitchen to the residents in the nursing care units.
The position works collectively with the nursing department and other team members to promote a great dining experience for the residents.

Responsibilities:
Provides the meal service delivery and clean up for the residents from the facility kitchen/kitchenettes Assists cooks as need with other food prep and clean up tasks of the kitchen Assists with dishes, equipment cleaning, maintenance of dining rooms and checking/unloading stock Performs related duties and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Genuine interest in working with patients and food service as related to total patient care Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to work independently and well as a team player Recommended Skills Health Care Maintenance Nursing Nursing Home Care Restaurant Operation Self Motivation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
