Rehabilitation or Therapy Aide

Want a full time M-F position with great benefits? Looking for a rehab aide to be part of an in house therapy team.
Pay rate $13.
50 up to $20.
00 depending on certification and experience.
Must have a genuine interest in the rehabilitation and maintenance of the geriatric resident.
Transportation of residents to/from therapy for treatment and assisting nursing is the main responsibility.
Also, responsible for leading individual/group maintenance programs designed by therapists.
If you are not a state tested nurse aide, we can help you accomplish those goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Assists in therapy department as Rehabilitation Aide when required.
Transports residents to/from therapy department for treatment.
Trainable in basic areas of therapy delivery.
May aide in certain portions of delivery of therapy as allowed by state and federal guidelines.
Follow through with individual and/or group maintenance programs initiated by specialized therapies ordered by a physician.
Maintain individual records of maintenance activities for each resident as required.
Record resident daily activities and file as required.
Act as a resource for CNAs in maintenance program techniques.
Assists and feeds residents in dining room with meals as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS Certified Nursing Assistant or graduate of a PT, OT, COTA or PTA accredited program who has yet to receive state licensure.
Ability to function in a team environment.
Ability to communicate in writing and record resident responses to treatment preferred.
Ability to use computer efficiently Recommended Skills Certified Nursing Assistant Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Communication Maintenance Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
