Job Description:
Provide support to the Plant Manager.
Ensure continuous operation of equipment and processes.
Maintain maximum productivity, quality, safety and housekeeping to company standards.
Essential Functions:
Shipping and receiving responsibilities.
Responsible for material handling, inventory counts and forklift operations.
Abide by and enforce all Safety Policies and Guidelines.
Responsible for housekeeping in all production areas.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Understanding of how equipment operates to produce the protective packaging product.
Qualifications:
High School diploma.
2 years' experience working in a plant environment.
Written and verbal language skills.
Ability to work as a team member.
Forklift certification.
Mechanical troubleshooting aptitude.
Continuous process improvement.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Physically capable of lifting parts or equipment up to 75 lbs.
